brandcomm (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a brand strategy and communication consultancy based in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, Turkey. Protecting your privacy matters to us as much as protecting our clients’ brands. This Privacy Notice explains what personal data we collect through wearebrandcomm.com, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it, in line with Turkey’s Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

What information we collect

We only collect information you choose to share with us:

• Contact form submissions: your name, email address, subject, and message when you reach out through our “Let’s Talk” form.
• Direct correspondence: anything you send us by email or phone.
• Site usage data: anonymized analytics such as pages visited, browser type, and general location, collected through standard website analytics and cookies.

We do not operate an online store, do not process payments on this website, and do not collect financial or card information of any kind.

Draft for approval: the new Let’s Talk form also asks for your company (optional) and what you need help with, and keeps a copy of each message in our website admin so no enquiry is lost. If you subscribe to The Brief, our monthly newsletter, we store your email address with our newsletter provider Brevo and only send it after you confirm your subscription (double opt-in).

How we use your information

We use the information you share with us to:

• Respond to your inquiry and discuss a potential project;
• Prepare proposals and communicate about ongoing work with existing clients;
• Understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it;
• Meet legal or regulatory obligations where required.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not share it with third parties except where required by law, requested by a competent public authority, or necessary to protect our legal rights.

Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data you share with us, including secure (SSL-encrypted) transmission on this website and restricted access to stored data. No online transmission is ever completely secure, so we recommend avoiding sensitive information, such as identification numbers or financial details, in the contact form.

Your rights under KVKK

As a data subject under KVKK, you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is being processed, and request information about it;
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether your data is used accordingly;
• Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, domestically or abroad;
• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data;
• Request deletion or destruction of your data once the legal grounds for processing no longer apply;
• Object to a result that arises against you through analysis of your data exclusively via automated systems;
• Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
