Raha visual identity and website on laptop and phone

Who they are

Raha is a Basel-based lifestyle brand founded by Lilian, a wellbeing coach whose work draws on the African wisdom she learned from her grandmother. In Swahili, raha means comfort, ease and joy. Under one name it brings together Afro dance fitness, community events led by the Black Essence Fashion Show, and Raha by Lilian, fair-trade jewellery handmade in Kenya that helps fund children's education.

What we did

Raha had grown into three ventures speaking in three different voices. We started by giving them one roof: a master brand, a shared philosophy and a line that holds it all together, "Move. Belong. Give Back."

From there we rebuilt the identity, designed a website that gives every venture its own room without losing the house, and planned a social media grid where a fashion show, a dance class and a jewellery collection finally look like family.
